University Education Fund

  • PSES has a University Education Fund (UEF) to provide scholarships for Alumni of P.S Schools to pursue college education (graduate study in Arts, Science, Commerce, Business, Medical, Engineering, Accountancy, Agriculture, etc).
  • The Society provides fees for all the 3/4/5 years of graduate education with maximum scholarship amount of Rs 20,000/- per year.
  • Every year over 30 new students become eligible for the University Education Fund.

P.S Institute of Music, Arts and Culture

  • To promote the cause of music, arts & culture generally among the students of all the schools run by the Society, a separate unit PSIMAC has been setup from July 2003. The institute is provided with a well-equipped Auditorium with state-of-the-art audio facilities for its programs.
  • PSIMAC organizes annual dance and music festival for students of our schools on Vijayadasami Day.
  •  It encourages training in vocal and instrumental music for children with special abilities from the public.
  • Lectures are held on Indian Heritage for the benefit of students, teachers and the public.

To fulfill one of the original objectives of P.S Charities for spreading knowledge of Sanskrit, the Society started a Sanskrit Patasala in 1977. This institution is supported by a grant-in-aid from Government to cover two-thirds of the cost of Sanskrit teachers employed in the Patasala. We are supporting Sibiram in the following activities to promote Sanskrit.

1.  10-day Sanskrit Sibirm for the students and the public

2.  4 to 5 batches every year consisting 30-40 participants

3.  Weekly classes consisting of 4 levels for those who want to learn Sanskrit

4.  Conducting examinations twice a year and awarding certificates

5.  Bala Bharathi classes using the books published by Samskritha Bharathi
